# Why DexPay

## Why DexPay?

**Transparency**: DexPay is built on public blockchains. It is open and transparent, meaning anyone can see how transactions are executed and verify their authenticity on the blockchain.

**User Control:** Decentralization is at the heart of what we are building. We have built DexPay to be a standard web3 product that gives users full control and responsibility over their interactions with the DexPay protocol.  This is in line with our goal to build a product that is in line with web3 ethos and raises the bar of what is possible in DeFi. 

**Ease of transaction:** At DexPay, we have made it very easy for web3 users to get connected to liquidity. Why transfer your funds to a centralized exchange for off-ramp when you can sell directly to fiat from your self-custody wallet in just a few minutes? Buying or Selling on DexPay is easy, secure, and smooth.
