# Self-Custody Wallet Setup

## Self-custody wallets

DexPay is a dApp, hence you will need a self-custody wallet to access trading activities. DexPay has support for a wide range of self-custody wallets which includes the following:

* **Mobile: Trust wallet, Metamak, Coinbase, Kiwi, Mises wallet, etc**
* **Web: Metamask extension, Trust wallet extension, or Rabby wallet extension**

To get started on DexPay, download/install any of your preferred self-custody wallets, and ensure you back up the private keys securely.

* On a desktop, you can install the wallets by visiting the web extension store.
* On mobile, you can download the wallets by visiting the App Store (google playstore or iOS appstore).

#### To add the Metamask extension on Chrome,&#x20;

Visit the [chrome web store](https://chromewebstore.google.com/category/extensions?utm_source=ext_sidebar\&hl=en-GB) , Search Metamask, and click "Add to Chrome"
